If you already have a company logo and wish to keep it, it is best to find a template that compliments your current logo with little or no change. Look for a template that will accomodate your existing logo's color and size.

If you do not have a logo or would like to change the current logo, we can work with the mock logo that the designer modeled in the template of your choice, browse through our stock logos or create something completely new. In most cases using the design blueprint from the designer, we can customize the mock logo for a perfect fit.

 

Website Pages

Selecting a template with pages laid out close to your needs, in the appropriate color scheme will prove beneficial in the overall customization process, as editing the pages of your site is the most comprehensive task of the web design process.

The text must be chosen and written carefully, for the most impact. Image replacements must be cropped or sized with care, and graphical attributes, such as rounded corners and shadows, need to be applied to new images.

Since the pages of your website are the main focus and the areas of most work, this is the area of the template that you will want to scrutinize when selecting your template. Decide beforehand which pages will be used on your template for each area of your site, and remember that you will likely use a few pages more than just once.

 

Meta Tags

Meta tags are an important piece of every page. Using blanket meta tags across your entire site is a dangerous practice. Each page should be unique and independent, and for that reason each page should have its own meta tags. Meta tags are not fully effective when used alone, they should be used in conjunction with a full SEO plan. Extreme caution should be used when considering automated SEO and submission services that blanket your site's meta tags and submit to multiple search engines.

Blogs, RSS and other changing content are vital to the success of a website.
